There is a soap opera character who is a girl named Blake, but I have never known one in real life. If you really like it, I say go for it

If you love it on a girl, thats all that matters! But me personally, I see it better on a boy.

I do like it better for a boy, but I've known one woman named that.

No. I like it for a boy, and if people start using it on girls, everyone will start to think it sounds girly, even though it doesn't, and no one will be able to use it for a boy anymore.

If someone thought Kate or Elizabeth were good names for boys, would any of you tell them to go for it if they really loved them?

I think it sounds like a boy name. I do know someone that loved the name but thought it was to masculine so they went with Blakely.

I think boy but if you paired it with a more girly middle name I think it could be cute.

My sister loves this name for a girl. I'm not a huge fan, but I don't see a problem in people choosing names they like for their children.

Personally to me it's all boy...I've only known one male Blake and I just cannot picture it on a girl at all.
