Dh and I both have J names. I'm Jamielynn and he is Joshua.
Do you think it would be cute or annoying if our kids all have J names?
Dh and i really like the name Joslynn for a girl...Jos(from his name) Lynn(from my name). For a boy We love Jace or Joshua Jr.(JJ)

What do you think??

I think it's kind of cheesy and confusing but it's a personal choice, this is just my opinion.

I don't think it's annoying, I think as long as you really like the children's names and aren't just choosing 'j' names just because you want them to start with a 'j' then it's cute. I really like the idea of Joslynn..the combination of the two names. Jace is cute too

Joseph
I can NEVER remember who is who. It drives me nuts
Do you think it is as Cheesy even when the names are a little different from each other like the ones we like?

It's still a little cheesy for my taste to have all J names even if they are different...they all still start with J. It gets really annoying when it gets out of hand like that Duggar family with 17 children with all J names. They have daughters named JoyAnna and Johanna (or something like that). It's like they forgot they already used the name or something, lol.

If those are the names you like go for it. It's your choice and your kids!! (I kinda think it's only annoying if the family does it on purpose)

Thats true! I just don't want people to think i'm silly for doing all J's. It may already be weird because my grandparents already have 5 great grandkids with J names

I think Joslynn is adorable!! And I love Jace, it's on my list too. I don't think it's cheesy, if you like the names than in my opinion it's okay to be the adorable lil J family.

I think it's cute when families have all kids starting with one letter. I love matching sibsets, whether it's all biblical names or all trendy names, etc... If you like J's a lot, I'd go for it!

I think Joslynn is a really cute name/idea.

I think it's super cute when families do that. If hubby and I had the same first letter we'd do it too. (Except if we were both J's, which I am- and it's just because I personally don't like most J names since everyone in the 80's had one. ) However, if you can think of cute J names that you both really like, I'd say go for it. I don't think it's cheesy at all.

I see nothing wrong with it. There are WAY worse names out there than them all starting with the same letter.

I dont think its annoying.. if you love the names and its bascially a coincidence that they start w/ the same letter, then no.. but I agree the Duggar family went a little bit crazy w/ the naming, but thats their choice lol

Yep i think it is more coincidence for me!! If i have more then 2 kids or more then 1 of each sex they won't all have j names.

my mom named me stacy and my brother after my dad, Scott. and her name is sue. so its Scott, Sue, Stacy, Scott lol
we named our boys Jaden and Jonah. But not on purpose. We had originally picked Tyler as Jonah's name but it really never fit and I wasnt happy with it. Jonah was picked out of feeling like that was him! Now I am confused on if I want to use another J name or not. If I had a girl I dont think I would feel so inclined to use another J name as I do if it was a boy...
I love the name Joclynn

I love the Joslynn idea. And, it's a beautiful name.

The whole all-J's thing doesn't bother me as much as the idea of a dad naming both his kids after him. Before people get to know him, they might think he's egotistical for doing such a thing. KWIM? That's just something else to take into consideration. If you have a girl named Joslynn both you and your dh have been honored. I would considering honoring another family member with baby #2.
