So let me start by saying that DH is a big motorcycle racing fan, and while I don't like the idea of naming a baby after a famous sports player/actress/etc. simply because you like them...I actually like the names themselves. DH suggested the names Hayden and Rossi. I actually kind of like both. We both feel that both name can work for either a boy or a girl. What are your opinions on the names themselves...and which gender do you think each works best for? I personally think that Hayden is more masculine and Rossi is more feminine. TIA for your opinions.

I think Hayden is more masculine, too, but my DH thinks it should only be used for a girl.

Hayden - A little trendy (as all of the aiden/ayden names are atm) but nice, I like it for a boy

Rossi - umm...I can't say i like it to be honest and because of the "Ross" I see it as a boys name

I actually only know a girl Hayden so it sounds feminine to me although I know its more popular for boys. Rossi seems kind of feminine too imo.

Hayden is definitely masculine, I don't see it as being even a little bit girly. I don't think Rossi makes a good name for either gender. I don't mind Ross for a boy, but Rossi just looks like a nickname for that.

Ross with the nn Rossi for a boy would be nice.

I like them both. Hayden is VERY unisex these days, so it can work for both. Rossi sounds more masculine, and Ross could always be a nn. I supposed it can be for a girl though too. :>)
