Ok I've got a lot of time - I'm only 5 weeks along but I'm totally freaking about names. I need help. It was so easy with Lucy because it was my Grandmother's name. I want a daughter named Lucy from the time I was 15.

Well here's my dilema:

My daughter : Lucinda (Lucy)
Fiance's daughters: Rowan & Eloise

With those names we can't name this kid Mary or John

But I'm so at a loss. Good thing I have time but I need some suggestions.

I guess I should have listed the last name.

Williamson

So I'm thinking the name will have to be on the short side.

I like Helena, Hollis, Lark, Claire & Clarrisse. But I'm nothing is screaming this is it

I've also added Alaura from someone else thread and Valerie from a little girl I just met.

On Grays Anatomy a female doctor was named Addison. I like it but I don't think Addison Williamson flows

I do like Cole for a boy. I like Jack & Jake but they are so common now.

Oh it's going to along 7 months

Yeah, any ending in son aren't gonna work with your last name. Sorry.............

What about Reece/Reese for a boy, I am still loving Helena! Lauren is really pretty, and so is Valerie. What about Vanessa, nn could be Nes or Nessa.

I like the boy's name Ridge. I've always liked that name. For a girl I like Estelle.

I love the name Reese that was going to be the boy name if Lucy wasn't a girl - but that was with the Ex H so I don't want to use it

I think right now my top 3 girl's names are Helena, Alaura & Valerie. Not necessarily in that order.

Still no clue on boys

Lucy's best friend is named Isabella Claire. It's beautiful but I can't use it.

I do like Claire a lot & would considered it for a 1st name.

I know too many Abby's. I'm trying to find something not too common. Uggh this is so hard.

Hey I'm really starting to like Helena. But it's an awfully big name for an infant & I'm big on nicknames. What could I use as a nickname. SO's daughter is Ellie (Eloise) so we couldn't use that.

I agree if her name is Helena (Ha-lane-a) then just Lena (Lana) would be pretty.
