I just found out I'm preggers! Yes I'm already thinking of names...early yes but it's exciting so I like to think about it. DH and I have been talking about names and so far this is my list. He is picky and doesn't like a lot of them but I'd really appreciate suggestions. The only stipulation is I do not want another name that starts with A. Our last name is Carvallo so I want it to flow nicely too.

Girls:
Eva
Sienna
Caitlyn
Sheridan
Eden
Elaina

Boys:
Landyn
Kadyn
Riley
Elijah
Peyton
Ryder

TIA for your input!!!!

Eva - Very cute
Sienna - Love this!
Caitlyn - Nice, classic
Sheridan - It's okay....
Eden - Nms
Elaina - Cute

Landyn - Very cute; prefer spelled Landon. I think the "yn" makes it look feminine
Kadyn - Not a fan of
Riley - Prefer this for a girl...
Elijah - Very cute
Peyton - Prefer this for a girl...
Ryder - Very cute

I like your names. I have to say my faves are Elaina, Sienna, Elijah, and Landyn. Like I mentioned, I think Landyn spelled this way looks feminine. I think any of these would go great with your son as well.

With your son's name I really like Elijah and Eva or Eden. All of the names on your list are great though.

Eva- I like it a lot.
Sienna- NMS. Sienna is an ugly color that became popular as a name because of some useless celebrity named Sienna.
Caitlyn- first of all, it should be spelled Caitlin. The fact that Caitlyn/Katelyn/Kaytelynne is more popular than the correct spelling bugs me. Second, if you are it the U.S., no one will pronounce it correctly. It's pronounced more like Kaht-leen or Coit-leen than Kate Lynn.
Sheridan- it's a boys' name. I would like it for a boy, except that it reminds me of a TV show my grandparents watch, in which the main character is an annoying, snooty woman with a son named Sheridan who keeps calling her to borrow money.
Eden- NMS, but it's okay.
Elaina- I LOVE it!

Landyn- I like it spelled Landon. The y is not necessary.
Kadyn- too overused, and it doesn't need the y either.
Riley- it's NMS, but I like it a lot better for a boy than a girl.
Elijah- love it.
Peyton- NMS, but definitely a boys' name. It reminds me of Peyton Manning. Not girly at all.
Ryder- it's okay. Sort of looks like 'ride her' which could be an issue in high school.

Eva, Elaina and Elijah are my favorites.

Eva - Cute but it sounds a bit harsh to me. Love it as a NN for Evelyn.
Sienna - Very nice, especially as i love the city Siena in Italy. Brings back nice memories
Caitlyn - Prefer Caitlin. Its ok and i like the NN Cate but its a bit common.
Sheridan - NMSAA
Eden - Adorable. But i can see this getting very popular. Edith is a nice alternative.
Elaina - NMS, too frilly.

Landyn - Prefer Landon - Love the combo Landon James
Kadyn - Again, Prefer Kaiden and like the NN Kai
Riley - This is nice but very "american" to me.
Elijah - Nice
Peyton - Dont like this. Im not sure whether its more of a girl or boys name lol.
Ryder - Same as Riley. Im not a huge fan of all these new Ry names.

I LOVE that you are so honest! That is what I want so I thank all of you. A person's name can put an idea of who a person is before even meeting them, so I want to know what these names sound like to other people. I'm totally open to different spellings....I just put them on there the way I found them while searching a baby name list. I am sure I will be bringing you all more ideas in the next nine months but you did help me narrow down my first list!!

Thanks ladies!

ETA: My mom suggested another girl name and I kind of like it. Aubrey Denise. (Stinks that it's an A!) The Denise is for a very close friend of ours who just lost her battle with cancer so I would like to try to work out having that as a middle name for a girl if possible....didn't think of that until I talked to her.

First of all I have to say that I love your style of names, especially your boys names. Maybe when I get pregnant the next time, I'll just make you make a list for me.

Eva- I looooove this name! It's so pretty and less popular than Ava.
Sienna- Sienna's pretty. I personally wouldn't use it but it's nice.
Caitlyn- The only thing w/ Caitlyn is that it's popular, though not as much as it used to be. I love the name though and would use it. I also like it better spelled Catelyn but that's just me.
Sheridan- This is the only one on your whole stinkin' list that I don't like.
Eden- Loooove this one as well. It's on my list for if we ever have another girl.
Elaina- Elaina is like Sienna to me. Pretty but not something I would use.

Boys:
Landyn- Love this one but how it's spelled seems a little girlish to me. Don't know exactly why. I would use Landon, but *shrug* it's your kid and I do like the name.
Kadyn- Same feelings as above. I like it Caden or maybe Kaeden. I really like the name though.
Riley- I was sooooooo glad to see this on your boy list. I love it so much more for a boy!
Elijah- Like it.
Peyton- Peyton seems more like a girl name to me.
Ryder- I really like this one.
