We decided on Ciara for our baby girl.
I figure, it's pretty, it's not too over used (yet anyways), and both Dakota and I like it.
We're pronouncing it see-air-uh rather than see-are-uh.

Could you please post middle name suggestions?!

So far I have:
Ciara Destiny
Ciara Faith
Ciara Hope
Ciara Trinity

But I haven't mentioned them to Dakota.
The chances are overly high that he won't like any of those. LOL
So could you please give me some suggestions!

Thanks so much!

So this is really it this time? lol! I like Ciara Faith out of all the names you have listed.

Are you looking for like a word name for the mn or does it matter?

With Ciara being 3 syllables I think it sounds best with a one syllable name or maybe 2 if the last name will be 1 syllable. I like Ciara Faith. Others I think are cute:

Ciara Kate
Ciara Raine
Ciara Paige
Ciara Grace
Ciara Cheyenne
Ciara ...i think I've run out of ideas.. Good luck

Thanks Kitt!
We've been through so many names. It's crazy.

My last name is 3 syllables and Dakota's has 1.
Ciara will have both of our last names, which makes choosing a mn even harder!

Ciara Brielle
Ciara Violet (since I know you liked that name too)
Ciara Desiree
Ciara Meadow
Ciara Reese
Ciara Jade
Ciara Giselle

That is all I can think of now but I will keep looking!

I love the name Ciara (it is very pretty), and I was pronouncing it see-air-uh too! Out of the ones you listed, I also like Ciara Faith. Out of the ones Kitt listed, I liked Ciara Kate, Ciara Raine, Ciara Paige, and Ciara Grace. You could also go with a longer name like Katherine, Elizabeth, Sophia/Sophie, Isabelle/Isabella, etc. Onther though would be if there are any family names (gram, mother, etc.) you might like to use that would sound good with Ciara?

Good Luck! Hope Ciara is the one this time! It is a wonderful name!

I think Ciara is beatiful, I had it on my list in the beginning but it didn't work with my last name. Out of the middle names already mentioned I like the following:

Ciara Faith
Ciara Paige
Ciara Grace
Ciara Reese
Ciara Giselle
Ciara Brynn
Ciara Rylan
Ciara Laine

I also like:
Ciara Sage (may have to much a "S" sound on both)
Ciara Ryann
Ciara Matisse
Ciara Wren

Thanks so much for all the suggestions!!

I really hope it's the one this time.. It feels right, so hopefully it will stay feeling right ! LOL

We don't want to use any family names, and Dakota really isn't fond of "old fashioned" names.
He def. will not go for Violet.

I think I want something with more than 1 syllable because once we're married we'll drop my last name so people at school and such will know her as Ciara ____ Smith.
Ciara Faith Smith doesn't sound right imo... Although I love Faith.

Right now I'm leaning towards Ciara Trinity but I haven't mentioned it to Dakota. Who knows what he'll say/come up with ! LOL

From your suggestions I like:

Brynn
Laine
Gabrielle
Brielle
Raine

I'm on another name board and they're hounding me for spelling it incorrectly.

Apparenly Ciara says "ke-are-uh" or "kee-ruh"

So I guess I'll talk to Dakota about spelling it Ciera.

The way it's suppose to be spelled is Sierra.. But I really don't like that.

Spell it however you want! That is how Ciara, the singer spells it and pronounces it.

I agree, spell it however you want! It is your kiddo, not theirs....they can spell Ciara, Sierra if they want, but this is your decision!

Good Luck!
