all my seaching and nothing new. I've narrowed it down, to being pretty sure I will use one of these 2. Wont decide until baby gets here. maybe something else will "come to me" before then, but its not likely.

We are a nickname using family. If we use Benjamin we will probably NEVER call him Benjamin. We'd call him Ben. I will not be a happy camper if anyone calls him Benny or Benji or Beno. Its a tough call. I really do like Ben, but I dont know if I like it for an infant. such a short time in their lives though i have to look past that.
Avery we'd probably call Avery though, or Nico for his middle name... although it would sound like Neeko, not Nick-o. Since its a gender nuetral name, if the girls end up stealing it completely he can go by Nicholas, Nick, Nicky, Nico, Etc.

I love Avery Nicholas, I'd probably like the name Benjamin but a kid ruined that for me in middle school. He was a spoiled brat.

thank you. my son's middle name is Rocket, and my daughter's middle name is Faith. We like non traditional middle names. We are a Christian family so I like this middle name on a spiritual level. Some people may see it as "violent" but I know what it means to be a spiritual warrior so we like this.

A.L.C. - I think its one thing to say you don't like a name, but comments like "Seriously " seems a little immature way of expressing that. You can detest a name, hate it, strongly dislike it, but you should try to keep in mind that just because you dont like a name doesnt mean the person isnt serious about using it - or that they shouldnt be serious about using it.

I like both. I like Avery for a boy or a girl and Nicholas is a great name. My brother's names is Benjamin so I guess I'm a little partial to that. All in all, I guess I'm not much help since I like both names. I think the idea of an unusual middle name is great. Is there a story behind Rocket or did you just like the sound of it?

My sons name is Joseph Rocket... It came from the motorcycle gear Joe Rocket. When my husband used to ride motorcycles he had one of their leather coats. He suggested it and I liked the sound of it!

I picked Benjamin Warrior, I really like how it's a hidden meaning for spiritual warrior (which I know that that is!) How creative!

I picked Benjamin Warrior. I don't particularly like Warrior and I think the combination sounds a little odd. However, I picked it because I think it goes the best with your other childrens' names... and I like Benjamin way way more than Avery. So by process of elimination, I picked Benjamin Warrior.

Best name IMO is Benjamin.
Best combination is Avery Nicholas.
Best name to go with your other children is Benjamin Warrior.

I Like Avery Nicholas best. I think Nico is cute. I knew a little boy named that. I also like Nika for a girl.

All that matters is that the name means something to you and that you and your family like it.

I voted for Avery Nicholas, I realllllly like the name Niko as a full name, but also as a nn.

I am partial to Benjamin because I have one. I totally understand the nickname fear though...I hate when people call my son Benny or Benji. But it doesn't happen often at all and usually I correct them! We call our son Ben most of the time. Some of the time we call him Ben-Ben which will definitely stop by the time he is 5 or so!! But it works for him for now.

I like Benjamin Warrior. I am big on meanings and after you explained your reasoning behind it I liked it a lot.

thanks! I just cant seem to decide! DH doesnt like either, but likes benjamin more. we've determined after talking names for 7 weeks already (technically since before I got pregnant to be honest, but we found out its a boy 7 weeks ago), plus the last 2 pregnancies, and ttc times, that we just aren't going to agree on a name.

Benjamin does go more with traditional/fun name pattern we have with out other two. But I really love the name Avery, and probably the only thing holding me back is the girls stealing it. Man, so many great girls names out there why must they steal the boys names

i got plenty more time to decide though... i keep telling myself this but hasnt made me feel any better yet. Im gonna practice using eac name for a while...
