I like it .

There is a guy that we know who named his little guy this .. They are pronouncing it mal-uh-kee .. I feel sorry for the kid

And to add to that story -- we used to have a family who lived beside us and they said it mal-ah-shee .

I like it, but it's intended to have that hard gutteral chuh sound from hebrew.

I don't like it pronounced .... mal-ah-hi but I like it the traditional way... mal-ah-chuhai

I don't like it enough to ever use it. I prefer Malakai spelling, probably because I love "Kai" and that's what I'd probably call him.
