I like both of these names! I do think of Cameron as more of a boys name, but it would be cute on a girl! I really like Emerson. If you wanted a really feminine NN for her you could call her Emery.[/b]
Emery is a boy's name and so are Cameron and Emerson. I like them for boys but definitely not for girls.

Fav. names (that seem to change every day): Oliver, Beckett, Stellan, Violet, Audrey, Isobel.
Emerson is a last name that means "son of Emery." Emery is a masculine name, not a feminine nickname.
I think they both sound very masculine. The first time I met a girl Emerson, I though it was the weirdest thing and wondered why her parents had given her a boys' name. That was before I knew about the random-surnames-on-girls trend.
I think they're definently boy names and should be left to boys.
