Hubby and I are thinking:

Britton Joseph

for a future boy name. This is the ONLY name we have agreed on. How would you spell the first name (Briton, Britan, Britain, etc)?

Do you guys like it?

It's okay. Britton is NMS, but not bad. I like Joseph a lot.

Britton is the best spelling IMO. Definitely not Britain, because if I met a kid named that, I would assume the parents were obsessive anglophiles.

We actually chose the name because we love the nickname Britt. Now we just need to agree on a girls name (it took us 6 years to agree on THAT one!)

It's okay. I went to school with a girl named Brittan. So to me, it sounds like a girls name. But I think it does have a masculine sound to it. I would prefer the spelling Britton.

Its okay. I think the nickname Britt is completely feminine though, probably because I've only heard it on girls. Joseph is cute.

Of those you've given, I'd say stick with Britton.
