Hey ladies. I just wanted your opinions.

So, do you prefer Jayden on a boy or girl?

What is your favourite spelling? Jaidyn, Jayden, Jaden, Jaedyn etc.

I prefer it on a boy, spelled Jadon (which is Biblical).

The gender ambiguity and plethora of spellings are the main reasons I dislike it, actually.

Oh, really? I never knew it was biblical. I do partly agree, I personally prefer it on a boy!

Thankyou for your input!

I'm not a fan, but I always think of Britney Spears when I hear it. And I'm not a fan of Britney Spears.

Jadon, on a boy.

I don't like any of the other spellings, especially Jayden, because that is very tied to Britney Spears.

First off, I would never use the name myself. However, I don't have a preference on which gender it is used on. I think it sounds cute on both, and I know plenty of children (boy and girls) with this name. For a boy, I think I prefer the spelling Jaden. For a girl, probably the spelling Jaiden.

I know boys with the spelling Jaydon, Jadon, Jaden. And I know girls with the spellings Jaiden, Jadyn, Jaidyn.

I prefer it on a boy but my sister is using this name for her baby girl due in June. She's spelling it Jaedyn. I definitely think the spelling you use makes a big difference. I would never want to see Jaedyn on a boy whereas I wouldn't want to see Jadon on a girl.

i don't have any strong feelings on the name one way or the other (as far as it being better for a boy or girl) i like it either way. i do agree that the spelling need to fit the gender though - Jadon for a boy and Jayden for a girl

I love it on BOTH genders, but it's so unisex that I'd never use it. For a boy, I prefer Jadon.. and a girl, Jaidyn.

Boy. Jadon.

JADON
Gender: Masculine
Usage: Biblical
Other Scripts: יָדוֹן (Hebrew)
Pronounced: JAH-dun, JAY-dun
Possibly means either "thankful" or "he will judge" in Hebrew. This name is borne by a minor character in the Old Testament.

I personally wouldn't suggest using it at all, only because it's VERY popular. Including other names that have the same ending (Hayden, Caden, Brayden, Aidan, etc). But if popularity doesn't bother you, I suggest the spelling Jadon and only for a boy.

I prefer it spelled Jadon, and on a male.
It is biblical but in the bible its to be pronounced Yadon.
I like this name and it may be my next sons middle name, but I would never use it as a first name due to popularity.
