Does anyone ever see this making a comeback?

There are a few in our family but I am having trouble seeing my daughter with this name.
You never know though.

Not for another 10-20 years. Right now it's still a little too stuffy for a lot of people. Plus, when I hear Ethel, I think of Lucy's friend on "I Love Lucy". Which gives it even more of an "old lady" feel.

But I can see some interest in it 10-20 years from now.

If used now, I would consider it for a middle name.

I sort of like it. Most kids born now won't know any Ethels or have seen I Love Lucy, so it probably won't seem old-ladyish to them.

It would definitely stand out among the names that are popular right now.

I don't like it at all. Too stuffy and old fashioned for me.

I think it's super cute. I'm also an Esther and Estelle fan. I didn't think I Love Lucy at all. I'm actually kind of surprised that it isn't more popular. It's so trendy to use older names right now and it has a similiar 'feel' to Hazel which is becoming popular where I live.
