Sorry this is so long. Okay, I have started a few topics for baby names, and you all helped me a lot. But, I am having a really hard time with girl names.

I had a lot of criteria that I wanted to try and meet, but nothing that meets those criteria seem to be the "perfect" name. I wanted to use forms of Grandmothers names or names with the same meanings. I also wanted to continue with the pattern of -ah ending or the nature meanings like my other 2 daughters (Mariah and Savannah)

My latest choice is Eveline (it has the same meaning as 2 grandmothers middle names). I would use it for either the first or middle name. Could you all please suggest names that would go well with Eveline. Also, how would you pronounce Eveline, and what do you think of when you hear the name. Do you like it? If used as a first name, does it sound good with my other dd's names (Mariah and Savannah)?

I prn it EV-UH-LINE. I prefer EV-UH-LYN. (Evelyn)
But Eveline is nice too.

I loooooooove the nn Evie. So cute!

So, with that said - I'd probably use it as a first name!

It doesn't end with "ah" like your other daughters names though.

Some name suggestions that end in "ah" :

Aliyah
Delilah
Farah
Sarah
Keziah
Kiah
Leah
Lilah
Maleah
Zipporah

I would pronounce it EV UH LINE...but I too like Evelyn better. I don't really like it pronounce with line. But if used for a first name Rose would be a cute middle name. If used as a middle name Hannah or Sarah...it would fit your ah sounds

I was going for the pronunciation of Eva-Lyn. So I guess I would need to change the spelling.

I would pronounce it Ev-Uh-Lyn too. I think it's really pretty and Evelyn Rose sounds so pretty together! A name with the ah ending sound is Kendra, not the ah ending but it has the sound of it. I hope you find something out and I hope these suggestions helped. When I hear Evelyn I think of a very innocent and sweet little girl. It's one of those old fashioned names that are pretty and still very today.

Another one that would probably prn. it Eva-lyn.

I dont think it would be good for a first name with both of your other daughters ending in the "ah" sound.

Some suggestions:

Dinah
Gelilah
Taliyah
Tallulah
Terah
Zaynah
