(New here.. Hope I'm welcome!!)

I haven't quit YET! I gave up my nightly drink when I found out I was pg.. But the quitting smoking thing is much harder. I'm 5 wks along, and especially since this pg wasn't planned, wasn't really prepared to quit yet. I'm also high risk, so I'm smoking almostly entirely out of stress at this point...

My doc did say, however, that as long as I've completely quit by the time I reach 16 wks the baby will be okay.. Don't know if that's true or not, but it made sense to me.. He said that it's when the baby's lungs are starting to develop that it matters the most to not be smoking.

Well I am one of the bad ones. I have continued to smoke through my whole pregnancy. At first I cut down a lot, but not anymore. And everything is fine with my baby. He is actually measuring a little bigger than average.[/b]
Except I had a girl and her weight was a little small 6 lbs, 3oz. Even though I smoked I feel guilyt for not quitting.
