I've been hearing impaired for over 12 years. In 2005 I decided to see an audiologist and get retested and get hearing aids. Got tested and have bilateral moderately severe loss. Then she tells me 'sorry insurance won't cover it, it will be $6000 an ear) *** NO WAY!

So I've gone without. My hearing has been getting worse tho. Found out the medicaid plan I'm on WILL cover at LEAST 1 hearing aid, but likely both. SO I go on Tuesday at 9 am to the Audiologist to be retested and hopefully get hearing aids ordered.

So God Willing I MIGHT be able to hear by the end of the month!! Send up some prayers for me

Thank you!! I'm excited and nervous!!!! Maybe I'll finally be able to not tell my husband every 5 minutes 'What did you say?'
