I'm MamaG23. Live in WA... born w/o radius bones in my arms and I have 2 girls and one (just one we hope) baby one the way... supposedly due August 1. Only my hubby and a couple friends know though. I'm not sure when we'll break the news but I've been getting excited so I'm glad to have a forum to post in if nothing else.
And u? tell me about you, please, if you would. I'll check back later or send me a PM. Tx.
where in GA? I used to go to school in Savannah at South University.
I have a condition called pseudoyumor cerebri where my brain makes spinal fluid faster than my body can reabsorb it. It causes really bad headaches. I have a shunt to deal with the fluid overload. I have had the shunt replaced 3 times. I have also had 4 strokes that we know about caused by shunt malfunctions. I am currently dealing with issues with my asthma. It is really bad for some reason. I had a hospitalization in May where I was in ICU for about 30 hours and was almost put on a vent. I am currently getting respiratiory infections about once a month for some reason. We dont know why. I am fighting pneumonia.
I am getting really close to asking my dr to put me back on anti-depressants, because my depression is getting bad.
In addition to the pseudotumor cerebri and asthma, I have high blood pressure and high cholesterol, sleep apnea, and insomnia.
I am a single mom to two wonderful kids, Sean is 13 and Dani is 6. I was a paramedic for 10 years before my health took me off the truck.
