I'm sorry if this is TMI...

It always seems that I have a vaginal infection after getting AF. No itching or burning. Just yellowish discharge and "funny" dor. (Sorry!)

Is this possible to happen after every AF? It just doesn't make sense. And I am very anal about keeping clean down there, so I know its not from that!

Actually...the fact that you may be "very anal" about keeping it clean may be your problem. Since it is a self-cleaning area, little needs to be done to keep things in working order. Over-cleaning can infact cause irritation and infections.

Are you sure the issues after your AF aren't just remaining discharge? Have you seen a doctor about this? What kind of treatment do you seek for the infection?

If it's not itchy and does not burn, the yellowish discharge could just be your own CM and not an infection. Is the odor foul, or just different from the rest of the cycle?

It could be left over discharge. The odor isn't foul, just way different than the rest of my cycle... it drives me crazy. I don't do anything because it only lasts for a few days

If the odor isn't foul, then it's likely just the end of AF. At the end of menstruation, the cervix forms a thick plug of mucus that seals it off until the fertile time begins. Sometimes fragments of this plug exit the body as a slight discharge.
