Hi ladies, I hate to post this here because I haven't been diagnosed with any type of cancer and hopefully I wont be but I do have a few concerns... I have a few lymph nodes on the back of my neck below my right ear that are swollen or maybe just large, If I really concentrate it seems that I can feel approx 5-8 on that area of my neck but they are all pretty small, not connected and no bigger than this size O and feel movable and soft, however I have one that seems to bother me and has for the past 2 years. It's probably this size ( ) and feels a bit stuck to the underlying muscle and if I mentally concentrate on that area I seem to feel a twinge of pain but maybe it's because I always mess with it... I know I should seek medical advice but I'm afraid of the word cancer... I'm just curious has anyone else dealt with this type of thing?

BTW I have no night sweats, no fatigue or weight loss...

I was just lurking here, this board is extremely slow.

I have about 10 lymph nodes I can feel in my neck too. If I were you, I wouldn't worry unless they grow and continue to change. Maybe ask any Dr. (gyn/pcp, etc) next time you have an appt - but as far as I know it can be normal to feel some lymph nodes esp if they are close to the skin. If it's not, I'm abnormal too!
