Hi Everyone,

I am a mother of two and pregnant with my third child I would like to quit caffeine but don't know if I should.

I don't know if my body's reaction to quitting is worse than me actually drinking it. I had high blood pressure

and preclampsia with my second child and I would like to keep my blood pressure down with this pregnancy.

Thank You Tammy

I would suggest cutting down first. With my smoking, I cut down to avoid my body going through SEVERE withdrawls first. Then i gradually weaned myself off.

Try replacing your caffeine with other things. I know its not the same, I was a major Pop junkie and coffee adict as well before getting pregnant.

Maybe... Im not sure how much you drink a day, But start by replacing three of your cups with water instead. Then make it four. and so on. If you wanna quit COMPLETELY just wean yourself off like that.

Bring stuff like gum to work and chew that when you want your caffeine. Just replace one Bad habit, with a GOOD one.

Good luck, and PM me if you need to.
