A friend of mine at work has this and so far the only thing she's found that helps with the symptom (doesn't cure it) is the body butter I made and shared with her. I bought some pure cocoa butter and shea butter (and I mean pure, not the pre-fabricated stuff with ingredients you can't pronounce) and made a body butter out of it. If you read this response and are interested, I can let you know how I made it. I have also read online about some people having success with clay masks on the affected area.
I hope you find relief!

Bleach bathing will also help! It's not that much, so don't worry!

1/4 cup bleach to a full tub of water. No worse than going in a swimming pool!

I've had eczema my entire life pretty much. I've had it on my face, hands, arms, legs, back, etc, throughout the years. Shea butter and corticosteroid ointments help them from getting scabby and bleeding but the only thing that has ever truly rid me of eczema has been a combination of ointments (not the lotions) with oral steroids and antibiotics. The one time I did that combo, I was almost completely cured for a few months.

I get it, mainly in my elbow joints & wrists - nothing ever REALLY helps me, even the steroids.. I've had it for so long now that I've just learnt to cope with the discomfort... I really hate it & am hoping that sometime the doctor will actually give me something that DOES help...
