Hi I'm new to the forums but have been wanting to find an answer to my problem. I had a D&C about 8 weeks after having my first child. She was induced early due to the placenta "calcifying" or "dying" as some say. I had bleeding six weeks after and then continued heavy bleeding a few days later that lasted two weeks. They were afraid of retained placenta but the results came back as an infection in which they gave me a strong anti biotic to take for two weeks. It's been about four days since I've started taking the meds now and I've been getting sharp pains in my uterine area. Nothing like contractions (I know those well because I was BH since 26 weeks pregnant) I don't know if anyone else has experienced this it not. They're not too horrible to the point I have to take the percicets but they will jab at me throught the day and sometimes make me stop to hold my lower abdomen in pain.
