Is there anyone else that has Fibromyalgia and has had a baby after being diagnosed with it? I have one son but I gave birth to him before my symptoms showed up and I am just wondering what your experience was? Or anyone has pain problems and had a child?

Hi...I know this is an old post but I thought I would respond anyway! I was just finally diagnosed with fibromaylgia and chronic fatigue syndrome last week after 4 years of symptoms. I survived my first pregnancy last year but was on codeine so I could get off the couch just to go to the bathroom. We are now planning our 2nd child and I don't know how I am going to get through it as the pain has gotten even worse since having my son. I can't take a lot of the normal medications used to treat the pain because of certain mental health medications I take but I can tell you that acupuncture helped me out A TON!!!! I know it can be pricey if insurance doesn't cover it but for me, it is so worth it and I get a lot of relief from it! Everything I went through was so worth it to have my son but I understand your pain and how difficult it is. Hope this helps a little!
