My name is Alissa and I was diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma when my twins were 3 months old. Acutally I knew I probably had cancer while I was pregnant but I went into denial because I was having such a rough pregnancy. I had a huge chunk taken out of my thigh and 3 lymph nodes removed. So far there has been no further trace of the cancer
Hi, I am Dawn & I was diagnosed w/Hogkins Lymphomia Stage 3 in 1994.
My 3rd dd was 6 weeks old at the time & I was hospitalized that day for 45 days. After Chemo & Radiation I am happy to say I have been in remission since 1996 and I have gone on to have 2 more children.
I remember the emotions so clearly of Denial,Anger,Fear,Sadness & finally Acceptance.

My name is Sally. I am a carrier of breast cancer that runs in our family, so will more than likely develop it in the future, I have many decisions to make, especially now I have a DD. I am screened every year and have been offered many options, DH and I have discussed them all, we have made no decisions as yet.
I also had a melanoma removed from near my collar bone 10 years ago, with no trace since.
My name is Angie I am 28 and the mommy to three wonderful boys! I was just diagnosed yesterday with cervical cancer caused by HPV. I am going in for a LEEP procedure on the 24th to remove the cancerous area and hopefully find out that it HAS NOT gone down to the next layer of cells.....
