Thanks! They were our first "kids" and now Ben is growing up learning that they are his "sisters." Dh's "sister" dog was the ring bearer at our wedding. She was a 13 year old golden who'd been fighting stomach cancer for 2 years. She lived nearly one year after our wedding. Sweetest dog I've ever known. I hate that Ben never got to meet her, but he LOVES our golden. They wrestle, share toys (I know... ewwwwwwww!), and make each other laugh (yeah... a dog can laugh! LOL!!). The little eskie is still warming up to him. She'll play when "she's" in the mood to play. She's smaller than him, though, so she's kinda scared of his akward 11 mo old movements.
