how do i go about finding someone to build a wheelchair ramp for my new house? my fil is in a wheelchair and cannot get into our house.

I would try and call your house authority and ask if they have a number to call or call an agency such as UCP, Veterans of America or if you can just go to your local Lowes or simlar Hardware/Home Store and purchase a portable ramp that you can extend to your outside door. (Some people buy these for their homes and/or cars/vans). But hopefully you can find someone who can help you buld you a ramp for "free" and do it ADA compliant (safety wise). GL and HTHS. I too, use a w/c and just a had a new ADA ramp built.
