HI Everyone!
I just had my baby girl on October 4 and at first I had the normal after pains from the breastfeeding. (For the first couple of days) the pains that make your uterus contract and go back to normal size.

Well anyway starting the day before yesterday. I started having really bad pains in my stomach. Its extremely painful and feels like gas pains. *But im not constipated in any way*

This morning the pains were so bad that I could barely get out of bed and take a shower. It hurt to stand up.

Oh and i Have noticed that a lot of times the past two days that I have gone to the bathroom *to pee* that when I am nearly finished my lower stomach starts hurting really bad as well.

Does anyone know what this could be. I have my two week post-patrum check up on Wednesday (OCtober 20). I do not remember these pains from when I had my son last year!

Thanks in advance!

Below is my weightloss ticker. This is not for the pregnancy weight to come off as it has pretty much all came off. The rest of it is just what I've been wanting to loose for a while now to get back to my healthier weight!

Definatly call and make your postpardum appointment sooner than 6 weeks. If you are in so much pain that you are having trouble getting out of bed, you need to call. If it is an infection, you do NOT want it to get any worse. I hope you feel better real soon. :hug2:

Update:

THe pain has gotten better. I do not htink its a UTI. I am the queen of UTI's..I have had so many in the past that I know when one is coming on..lol

but this was more like gas pains....My cousin is an RN and I asked her about it, and she told met o take the pain meds that the doc gave me when I had the baby. It was just Motrin but I took it and it worked.

I have hardly had any pain since last night, and I feel so much better. I was just trying to NOT TAKE any meds while I was breastfeeding.. At least not take any unless I just had too.. But I feel so much better now..

Thanks for all your responses!!!
