In a weird twist.... I am pg again. What makes it weird is this...
We've had 2 mc's & were not trying. We were waiting on testing to look for a cause. On Monday we went to the RE - he said all tests looked good, but he still didn't get all the records from teh OB. I called the OB & they said that they needed to speak to me - Dh's tests came back & he has a chromosomal abnormality & we need to see a Geneticist. I had then forward all tests (as they SHOULD have done already) to the RE (the Ob had them for 3 WEEKS - but that's another story). The RE said that this caused the mc's & we'd most likely need to do in-vitro to be able to be sure...and have this PGD thing done to pre-screen the embryos..VERY VERY upsetting to hear & it also is absolutely out of our price range - even if we wanted to.
So - this is Monday...... AF was due Sunday , but I took a HPT on Monday before the RE just to be sure & it was BFN - so I was ok...then Tues...I couldn't stop tearing up all day - even at work - this is so unlike me - and I still had no AF - no sign, got home, took another HPT & it was BFP. UGHHHH! Scary - upsetting, terrifying, you name it. We have such high risk to mc - high risk for birth defect, but truth is, there is still a 15% chance that the baby is healthy & another 30% chance that the baby will only carry this same issue as Dh (who is otherwise completely healthy). I try to think that we got pg this month on accident (I would've HAD to O right before AF - which we all know is way wrong) - because had we not, I don't know if I would 've been brave enough to try...so maybe this is our chance. Any prayers - or hope that you can throw my way is greatly appreciated - I am looking for a miracle here & hoping that it's coming. Thank you all.

Things aren't looking so good for this pg - I went to the Dr on Fri & they saw nothing but the gestational sac - I should have been right about 7wks...which means he expected a heartbeat. He is sending me to another Dr this week for a 2nd opinion - and I am torn somewhere between trying to remain hopeful & trying to recognize the inevitable. I would probably be more hopeful - but this is my new Dr - he's a specialist - he has awesome equipment - and he said he is 100% certain - but they always do a 1 wk 2nd opinion to reassure the patient that the right conclusion is made so that they can decide if they want a D&C. I don't know how much I will be around - it is a lot to take in again - but I am thankful for the support & will be here when I feel up to it - thank you for the prayers.
