I've never even heard of this! It's when the Autumnal Equinox happens on the night of a full moon. I couldn't find anything related to this spiritually, but it seems like the moon energy should be amazing tonight!!!! I just thought it was cool

I did all my autumn equinox spiritual work yesterday when I was off work and also because it was on 22nd which is one of my power dates, but yes, tonight should be a night of great power if you girls wanted to make wishes, do a prayer or a ritual or a simple candle spell (I'll post something about that at lunchtime). Jackie posted about this on Pagan Parenting, for anyone who's interested.

I am SO excited about tonight!!!!

UGH, so excited. There is so much magic in the air because of this, all the Pagan's are talking about it!! I didn't plan for this to happen but it just so happens that Kailey's first ritual is done where the Sabbat and Esbat are the same day! How cool is that?!?! lol, ok I'm done acting like a kid now....

Sorry, I didn't get chance to post about candle spells at lunchtime.

It can be very simple to do a candle spell to invoke a particular quality in your life. Choose an appropriate colour (see below) or use a white candle in the absence of any other colour. You can anoint the candle with an appropriate essential oil if you wish, and if your wish is for someone else you may carve their name into the candle.

For love, friendship, relationship harmony - Pink or Green
For courage or strength - Red
For sexuality, passion or a confidence boost - Orange
For balance, centering, or finding your way - Yellow
For abundance or a financial boost - Yellow or Gold
For communication or creativity - Blue
For spiritual development, psychic insight or to accompany a prayer - Purple
To banish negativity - Black

It's best if you can let the candle burn down, but fire safety first girls.

I googled a bit but didn't find anything specifically called Super Harvest Moon. I think the Super just implies the fact that it's on a Sabbat AND this hasn't happened in 20 years.

Eastern time at 11:09 is the official end of summer and you can see JUPITER right next to the moon. Definitely going to look for it tonight as long as the skys are clear. Looks cloudy right now
