I haven't done as much as I did last year, mostly due to lack of funds but also because I plan to home-make some presents next year as well.
I have however bought quite a few things 1/2 price from Boots, mostly intended for Xmas presents for Mum, Shaun and close friends next year but I have bought a Cute or What vanity case and a Cute or What beauty box (make-up kit) just for me - they were only £5 each in the sale so I just thought why not! My current make-up bag is getting a bit old and I did fancy some new make-up.
I've also bought family crackers from Asda (they were only £1 for 12 or something like that!!), two sets of gift wrap which should have been £5 each and were £1 each instead, 4x30 Christmas cards which were cute and a good size and only 50p per pack, and some Toy Story 3 stationery bits which I will keep for Daniel's stocking next year.
Quite pleased really and also feel like I haven't wasted tons of money because I haven't bought or spent that much.
When I went to Lincoln we had a walk round the shopping centre there, and I also got an angel encyclopedia, which will be great as I can now start An Angel A Day up again, a prayer book which is absolutely IDEAL for prayer of the week, a Big Book of Angels and a Natural Magick book - all of which were only £1.99 - and these are big books! Really chuffed!
those sound great Sharron, my hunny finally gave me some money for clothes shopping so me and aiden went on friday, let me tell you, it is not fun to shop while trying on clothes with a 3 year old! " mommy i see your butt!" is not something i want shouted in the fitting room lol
