It's my dad's 2nd anniversary tomorrow, 4th February.
It seems like much longer than two years that he's been gone...
Anyway, when I was in the waiting room after my u/s on Monday, waiting for my booking appt with the hospital midwife, they had a TV on with the Baby TV channel playing constantly. And on the TV, they started playing Pachelbel's Canon. It's the piece I chose for my dad's funeral...the piece I now plan on walking down the aisle to one day when we get married. I immediately thought of him, and immediately wondered whether it was a sign he was there, and had seen his second grandchild.
Am I crazy to find this comforting, or do you think it is a sign? I haven't heard that piece of music for a long time, maybe even since the day of the funeral almost 2 years ago.
Please can you ladies send some thoughts and prayers my mum's way tomorrow, too? I think she's finding it harder to cope with this year than she did last year. TIA.

I would take it as a sign ♥ It's easier for those in the Other Planes to communicate through music than any other form IMO

I'd definitely take it as a sign and do take comfort. I am so sure he is around you, especially during this time.
My grandfather passed away when I was pregnant with Oliver. He always said his lucky number was 13, he married my Nan on the 13th of April and next year would of been 50 years of happy marriage. After he passed away I started seeing 13 everywhere, including my son being born 13 days early. I took it as a sign that he was around us, making sure he didn't miss out on the first boy born in over a decade

When the first thing you felt is comfort, I would absolutely say it was from him. I bet he wanted you know know he knows his granddaughter

Im a few days late on this, sorry, but i would definatly take it as a sign from him. I have a song i associate with my little boy Ewan (who i lost in Nov 08). When things get tough i hear that song and i always take it as a sign from him. I havn't heard it in a while, but have been having a tough week, DH bought be a snow patrol cd last week and when i played it a couple of days ago, they were singing this song, i didn't even know they sang it. I always heard it from another artist who covered it. I immediatly felt comforted. I really think your dad was letting you know he was around you and looking after you while you are pregnant. xxx
