Usually when I dream and wake up then go back to sleep I dream a different dream but last night I had the same dream twice. It was strange(although its not odd for me to have strange dreams) and kinda gross.
If anyone has ideas of its meaning Id love to hear them...pls and thank you!
Ok so this is what I remember...
*I was in a small mediteranean type village(had a greek or italian feel to it) where everyone was in old style, gypsy-like clothing. That kinda village and feel.
I was part of a family running a small shop in the village and one afternoon we got word grandpa had died. We went home to begin the grieving process(some traditional things that had to be done). Grandma was devastated of course, and she was also very old and stuck in her ways.
We had a black cat as a pet and when I got home Id found they'd, at grandma's insistance cuz it was customary, killed the cat(more or less). Grandma was sticking it with a sharp object to get its blood. Apparently releasing the cats blood was a traditional thing to do when one died and had to do with helping the spirit move on or something like that...never got the full understanding of it.
I grabbed grandmas hand and said "enough!" cuz she was just going on and on with the stabbing. She got mad at me cuz of the interruption but she had gone a wee bit nuts as far as I was concerned and needed to be stopped. The rest of the family just kinda sat back and didnt do anything.
I was part of the family but felt like an outsider at the same time.
Anywho...so thats the basics of the dream. Any ideas what in heavens name its all about, if anything??

That mix of feeling about being part of the family but still outside might be a bit astral? Thats the feeling I get. A past life glimpse maybe?

It definitely sounds like a past life to me, but the stabbing seems more symbolic of this life. Of you snuffing out certain things/negativities in this life and saying, "enough with this!" - that's what I feel from this.

Thanks ladies!
If you dream that you are in the dream yet you can also step back and watch yourself is that an astral type thing??
Cuz Ive always had dreams where Im in the action one minute and then the next Ill be watching myself like a spectator in the dream.

I'm not sure what that is, I've never done that in a dream before unless I was watching myself be someone else completely, sometimes even a man!

No, no difference between the dreams.
Normally if I wake up in the middle of the night and go back to sleep my dream is different so this is not usual for me to dream the same thing.

Hillarie honey, I believe with my whole heart this is a past life. I would suggest doing some meditation on this and trying to connect a bit more. Spend some time thinking on it, and researching this time period, etc.
I understand with things going on, it may hard, but, I think it's deffo a great start to look into a past life for you. Lots of learning experiences connected, I feel, may help with transition of things in this life.
Love you so much, lots of thougths and prayers your.

I believe it's a glimpse of a past life too. I'd recommend doing some meditation to see what you can get out of it...

Thanks ladies I will find the time to meditate on it(as long as my kids stop waking at 5a LOL).
Ive had premonition dreams before. Had the same dream 3x between the ages of 11 and 16...always about my folks seperating and an issue with my younger sis and who she stayed with.
When I was 17 my folks split and my younger sis stayed with us til she wouldnt behave and then was sent across town to live with dad...just like in my dream.

I don't have any help with the dream. I just want to thank you all for having this board where I am learning so much.
