This week has been so messed-up supply-wise!

The guy called me yesterday first of all offering me 1:1 support work Wed and Thur pm. He then rang again in 5 minutes offering me a full day's teaching today, but the school is in a different authority to my son and also wanted the same teacher for 22nd Feb - which is in my son's holiday, when obviously I'm taking my half-term break too. He then found me a teaching assignment in Y5 in a local school for Thursday morning "take your own work", which I had a Maths/English lesson planned and was going to look through it this morning and make sure I knew what I was doing.

He then rang THIS morning to say the school had cancelled for tomorrow morning, but wanted a Y4 teacher for this afternoon, again "take your own work"! Argh! And of course the kids will already have done Maths/English - I have an Art lesson planned which they can do, but the agency guy and I have struggled to get out of the school what topic the kids are doing for the other lesson, so I've had to hurriedly sketch out vague plans for a couple of different options...I'm pretty stressed! So that's what I've been up to this morning, and will have to set off in a bit to get there for around 12.30 (teaching starts at 1.05).

So I probably won't be around much the rest of the day, and then tomorrow depends whether I get anything for tomorrow between now and about 10am tomorrow. It's obviously just "the way of this week" so I'm expecting more last-minute/unexpected work!!

Not sure yet when I'm going to get around to posting the 2012 activity this week, or prayer ideas in the prayer & devotion group. Sorry!
