Today and tomorrow I am trying to get work done so I can enjoy Thursday and Friday with Daniel.

Today I met up with the other two Y3/4 teachers in school to plan our topic. We were there around 3 hours discussing/making notes. I have a series of five R.E. lessons to plan now and picked up some stuff for that too. When I got home I had some timetable adjustments to make following speaking to them, and some adjustments to my Monday/Tuesday lessons as we tested out my interactive whiteboard and it wasn't "talking" to the class laptop - my colleague says he's a bit of a techie, and even he couldn't get it sorted, so will have to report it on Monday and get it looked at (we were the only ones in school). Then I was making/printing/organising resources for the first 2-3 weeks of English lessons which I've planned.

Tomorrow I have my return to work interview at the jobcentre - not sure how long that will take. I then need to pop back to school - the caretaker's going to let me in - to search out example letters and Roald Dahl text extracts in text books. Then I need to come home, plan my R.E. and write my first week of term letter to parents with topic overview. At least I can leave my Maths games which I wanted to make until next week - I found a bunch of Maths games and puzzles for extension work in the classroom today. So that's something.

So that's why I'm not around so much.
