So i'm sorry, but here is another past life post. I have seriously had the craziest energy going on right now. It's like it's going between being anxious to excited to just being super high in a way I can't even describe. I know this has to do with it being the 100th year anniversary of the Titanic sailing/sinking. Even watching a documentary on it I just kept having thoughts popping into my head that would never be in there otherwise. I've tried so hard to not believe in this because being raised Christian it's not something you should. It's so hard not to. Especially with being like this.

I know i've asked you all about your past lives but have any of you gotten like this? Am I just being weird?

On the Christian front here is my take (which is of course, considered blasphemy ) Just like you don't tell your kids EVERYTHING, why do we assume God tells us everything?

When the bible mentions heaven./hell, it always seems to me that Hell is separation from God. And isn't that what we are on Earth? Separated from God, subject to temptation, prone to illness, pain, sadness, etc?

What if...just maybe...when we die God says, "Honey, I love you SO much, but you didn't get it right." And what if...instead of hellfire and pitchforks, God sent us back to Earth to get it all figured out so that we CAN be with him?

For as much as we like to project God as forgiving, we sure do get a bee in our bonnets about what happens to people once they die. Fact is, we Don't know.

I don't know. Maybe it is something like that, maybe it isn't.

Why are you sorry Talking about this kinda stuff is always so interesting no matter how many times its discussed.

I remember talk about feeling connected to the Titanic before, I feel this way abouut Ned Kelly I can't work out why, or what the connection is but whenever I'm around something to do with him (for instance if I go to the town he lived in and view all the historic things etc) I get so excited, warm and fuzzy, tear up etc...

I was only talking to Sharron about this connection with the Titanic a couple of days ago. I feel that i possibly could have had a link to it in some way and that my son Reese also did. I have had a fascination about Titanic long before the movie originally came out even when i was a young child and Reese my 5 yr old has an overwhelming obsession with Titanic for a few months now, even though we never discussed it with him. I have even considered looking up passenger lists to see if anything clicks with me. I really believe we all had past lives, but that is my personal opinion, i don't think what you are feeling is in any way wierd. Unfortunatly, i don't know how to learn about past lives because i would love to know if this is just a fascination i have or is it linked to a past life.
Don't be sorry about talking about past lives, like Hippielove said it is always interesting no matter how many times it has been discussed. Im just sorry i am not more of a help to you with this.

There's a lot of us that feel that connection to the Titanic apparently. It's been a fascination of mine since I could really read and know what I was reading with it. I've had a nervous energy today too. I honestly think that the connection with the ship is why I'm so scared of water and downing. I've tried to keep busy today and I'm going to go meditate before I go to bed.

ETA: Ya know, Robbie has a connection to it too... He seriously has brought home every book on the ship that he can get his hands on... He sits and looks at pictures all the time in the books. It's uncanny how much he knows and how little he's been told.

I am affected by the whole Titanic story as well though I don't believe in my case it was a past life - just something that's always fascinated me. I just don't feel that "link" to it if you know what I mean - it's like it horrifies me and i have this morbid fascination, but one step removed. I recently posted about WWII and how I feel about that so I guess it's possible that in a recent past life I lost someone through the Titanic disaster, but then lost my own life in WWII. Certainly I don't feel any connection to later periods between WWII and now so it's entirely possible. Think I skipped the Victorian period too.

Erica, I'm sure I read something once about how reincarnation was taken out of the Bible at some stage. There's nothing wrong with questioning your beliefs and whether you personally resonate with everything a religion tells you to believe.

Molly, past lives are one of the hardest spiritual topics to get any sort of firm evidence for. Some books I would recommend would be "Past Lives Future Healing" by Sylvia Browne, "Past Life Angels" by Jenny Smedley, and "Through Time Into Healing" by Brian Weiss. I do have these books but am afraid I am not ready to pass them on as I'm still very much learning about past lives myself. I can't say that they will make you 100% sure on anything but they do talk about ways to connect in with your past lives and ways you can tell a fascination from a past life memory.

Some time ago I was in touch for a while with Jenny Smedley by email through an entirely coincidental thing where we "met" online. I told her about some of my past life inklings and she said they sounded like true past lives to her - because of the vivid detail I remembered them in and the fact that they were like very real memories rather than vague fantasies. If your pull, connection or memory is as vivid as a real memory and brings up emotions in you as a real memory would, it's likely to be a real past life.

The only other way is to get a regression with a trained therapist.

you are weird at all! I think there is something to past lives for sure. Like learning life lessons and if you dont you have to come back...so in that theory this could life we are in now could be a past life for your next life (if that makes sense)
