This was just a random thought that hit me yesterday.

Everything I've read and indeed learned during workshops and courses about archangels points up to working with the particular archangel who holds the vibration of whatever area of your life you're trying to improve - eg Michael for protection, Raphael for healing, Gabriel for purpose/guidance, Chamuel for love, etc.

However after trying and trying to work with Archangel Chamuel on Shaun's ongoing court issues for justice and relationship healing etc, and failing....and then Terri suggesting I work with Michael instead which has I feel really shifted things and led me to guidance to a little candle ritual (though we won't know the outcome until the end of August, Shaun has been feeling much brighter and optimistic in himself)...it just made me wonder....

I wonder if it's more the case that certain archangels draw closer to you, guide you or work with you depending more on your life's purpose for this incarnation as oppose to specific archangels helping with specific situations. Or whether, certainly, that this way round works better for some people.

Archangel Michael has long been a persistent influence and guide of mine, for example - after all, he gave me a spiritual sword in a dream. And it's working with Michael that has shifted things for me. I also have a lot to do with Archangels Cassiel, Gabriel and Uriel. If I dream about angels it is usually one of these four. When I go to one of these four for help, I feel that they respond, pretty much immediately. And sometimes I spontaneously feel their influence or messages even without seeking it.

Whereas Chamuel has very rarely responded to me unless I'm asking him to help me find something lost, Zadkiel always feels very distant and Metatron doesn't seem to respond to me (though I have felt him quietly observing me before now) even though I work with children and have an autistic child who I suspect is an indigo child myself. Raphael also responds to me if I'm asking for help and healing for someone ELSE, but not particularly if I'm asking for ME.

The other archangels I am not altogether sure because I haven't actively tried to work with them.

What do you think? Does anyone else find this is true for them?

I think archangels like all other beings, are drawn to some people and not to others. I can work with Michael with almost NO effort but any of the others I cannot feel. Even Raphael who is supposed to be for me.. with healing being my life's purpose. Nada. Just my opinion and experience.
