Daniel keeps asking me about what it's like when you die.
I don't know what's triggered this off but he keeps going through all the stages of life from embryo right through to elderly and then saying "what happens after elderly?" and when I tell him that eventually your body stops working and goes into a final sleep he keeps asking what it's like.
What on earth would you say?
I've tried telling him that it's peaceful and not painful and like going to sleep. We have talked about the fact that I believe your soul/spirit/mind lives on and Daniel came up with "and then you start all over again" (reincarnation) himself, and will say that your soul looks for a new body.
However he still seems a bit bothered by it, so looking for new ideas? He brings this up at least 3 times a week at present. I wonder whether they've been doing something about life cycles at school.
My 8 yr old is constantly repeating questions. Doesnt matter what you give him answer-wise he always asks it again and again til you wanna go mad.
Ive just learned to keep repeating the same answer. I dont know answers dont count LOL.
In the situation you have, Id just keep saying(and I have had this question before so this was my answer...over and over) that your body stops working and your spirit goes into the Universe to help out where needed.
If he continues wanting more details then I say some people think you hang out in a lovely place full of light and laughter where you can build block a/c units and such all day(he's obsessed with a/c units and water heaters) or play with friends. Some think you come back to earth in a new, healthy body to learn some more cool things.
