Ha he is quite happy to let me take him to the big municipal park this afternoon though, so maybe not. I would have thought he'd be too nervous if he thought baby was gonna shoot out any moment. My tummy is making some funny gurgling sounds though.

Carrie, my prediction on ExpectNet was the 13th. I go into hospital anyway on the 13th for a meeting with the consultant re next steps. Who knows, maybe she'll pick up contractions on the machine or something that day...

I suppose I've still got the evening but no signs yet apart from contractions that aren't really painful at around 15 minute intervals.

I would say they don't necessarily have to be painful Mine weren't all that painful, just noticeable I will be thinking contractiony thoughts for you

They just never seem to progress into anything stronger or closer together.

I had a terrible night's sleep. Was up between about 1:20am and 3 something am with the most painful contractions yet, about 20mins apart. Honestly thought I was starting. But they must have become milder because I fell back asleep. Woke up to pee a lot, too. At some point this morning I went to pee and thought I felt a "gush" with it (mind I was half asleep) but no gushes since and no more wetness on my panty liner this morning than normal so I guess it was nothing. I am VERY crampy and irritable this morning. My hips hurt, too, from pursuing my son around the park yesterday. Luckily he doesn't want to do anything today because I'm not up for anything.
