I was reading in my mag this afternoon about this and it seemed plain weird to me!!
The article was going on about how graveyards can be a potent place to work certain types of magic or do spiritual rituals, because they are such peaceful resting places and also carry the energy of many spirits and may provide a place where the veil between the physical and supernatural world is thinner. Especially during "the witching hour" between midnight and 1am.
It kept going on about not looking back on your way out of the graveyard because if you caught sight of a spirit it might follow you home...made me think this may be quite a dodgy practice!
Is this something you have ever done or considered? Would you do it?
Certainly I have worked magic outdoors near churchyards and in park/woodland where you can feel a definite energy boost. And certainly I have in the past enjoyed walking round the local cemetery - some of the graves, especially the older ones, are very ornate and interesting historically, and it's such a peaceful and picturesque place. But that was in broad daylight and while I've been known to say a quick prayer for the departed there, I don't think I would dare work any sort of magic there!!! It's locked up at night anyway!!!
