See the new Christmas Challenge sticky for information on what this is all about!
The first challenge is this.
Make an A-Z all about Christmas / Winter festivals. You need to come up with a word that has something to do with Christmas, Yule, Diwali, Hanukkah or any other seasonal festival for every letter APART FROM Q and X (no bonus points if you do get Q or X I'm afraid). Think about customs, traditions, songs, artefacts, etc that begin with each letter - they don't all have to be names of festivals.
You will only get points for ORIGINAL words. So, you can aim for a maximum of 24 points, one for each word, but you will only get the point if nobody has posted that word before you.
For example, to quote an obvious one, someone might put Christmas for C. If someone has already put Christmas for C, you need to come up with a different C. So this challenge will be easier the sooner you do it because you have more choice!!
It is fine to miss letters out if you can't think of anything. You can still get points for every letter you do. It is also fine to edit and add words for any missed letters at a later date. I will collect points initially this coming weekend. However I will note in here how many points I've awarded you, and check again at the end of the challenge to see if you have added or amended anything.
Please post your A-Z in this thread. You can do this any time up until the end of the challenge but it will get harder as ideas get taken.
You are welcome to post questions in this thread as well.
