I know it is soooo cliche - but it is truly when both my boys are sleeping & I look at them. I was so addicted to that feeling that when my 1st was a newborn and was waking about every 45 mins I would STILL find myself setting awake staring at him when he fell asleep & being sad that I needed to lay down & try to get some sleep. I swear it feels like a real need I have to see them sleeping. Without it - my day never feels really complete. Maybe when they ar eolder I will outgrow it - I sure hope so or their spouses will sure think I am creepy, coming over to take a quick peek in their window each night.

There is a moment around 5-530am before everyone else is up and going that I feel peaceful.
Not doing anything in particular just breathing slowly and listening to the stillness...

Holding a sleeping child is a most peaceful time. Lately though I've also felt quite peaceful with myself after a good workout. The first is an "nothing else matters in the world" and the second is "everything is right within" kind of feeling.

I feel most at peace when the night is still or when I am in the bathtub.

Watching sleeping babies is just wonderful. It's looking at their angelic little faces and knowing you made a miracle, and the rush of feeling that intense love unmarred by their waking antics.

I feel MOST at peace surrounded by nature and/or animals. Beaches, lakes, forests, woods, parks, animal parks.
