I learned a bit about them in church growing up but they werent the variety you hear about on tv shows or in other Christian churces LOL.
I learned that they were basically human formed people who were good and kind and guided some folks....especially if they had an important work to do on Earth.
The winged variety many talk about I didnt really think about too much except how cool they would look on movies or tv shows LOL. Never gave them much thought cuz I felt they were mostly for prophets or extra special folks.
Most of what I know nowadays about them comes from reading stuff on this board. Still not sure how I feel about them but I think they are special and I think they do guide us common folks more than I was taught as a youth.
I think it was from reading a book of Bible stories I still have that my nanna gave me when I was four. There were a few pictures of angels in there, no names though. They were depicted in there in human form with wings and a glowing aura. I absolutely believed. I can't remember whether that came first or whether experiencing hearing distant music (like toning, just "ahhhhhh" harmonies on different chords) and having the knowing it was angel song came first. I had this idea in my head that angels sing at dawn and sunset, and I'm sure I've heard that idea since. Probably the Bible reading came first but honestly I'm not sure.
