other than you ladies?

I found my little bag of stones, but I only know one or two of them.. and it's soooo dark in here that I can't get good photos that show their true colors. there's about 50 of them too.

I was thinking if I could identify them I would make myself a tiny pouch I could wear around my neck and put in the stones I wanted to draw from at the time. Right now they just sit on the shelf next to me in a glass jar.

Is there anywhere you can take them?

I know that there is a store about half an hour from me where the owner can identify stones, and she does it for free. Maybe look around and see if there is anyone who can do that for you. (I would suggest asking around at any New Age stores).

That's a good idea, but does depend if you have one in the area.

This website has really clear pictures of all the commonest stones:
Polished Stone Identification - Pictures of Tumbled Rocks

This one might be a bit more exhaustive but if yours are tumblestones they may be harder to match:
Mineralpedia: mineral photos and pictures with identification guide

This is a shop website, but the pictures are pretty good to see if you can match them to your stones and arranged in alphabetical order:
Tumble Stones A-Z - The Crystal Healer

There's also this one:
A to Z Index of Crystals & Minerals

I called the only shop I know of around, they will do one or two for free... but more than that is a $10 charge per 10 crystals... so it would cost me $60! And they aren't convenient enough to just take a few in at a time. I've just finished taking pictures of each one with a daylight lamp.. I will edit the topic when I've uploaded them for anyone who wants to take a stab.
