Glad I'm not alone, I'm not into that...errrrm type of sexy stuff....so I just don't see it appealing to me at all.

Don't get me wrong I do love me some yummy sexy reading, but that just doesn't appeal. I love that it started out as Twilight fanfic.

I don't mind erotica.. not much into bdsm, but I can deal. It was the writing style... just couldn't do it.

I love that it was a twilight fan fic.. but it really fits more with the Vampire Diaries characters then it does Twilight.

you see, this is what gets me. Yes there is in the beginning what do you call it? bdsm? anyways, Ana tells Christian to show her the worst and he does. She leaves him. He realizes that omg I love this women and I cant live with out her type of thing. it then becomes more of a love story with some twists and turns. They are a lot of "sex" scenes in there. and some do involve handcuffs and tying her to the bed or herself but thats the second book and third book. Its no longer about dom and sub. its about her pleasure and how much she can handle. its about a life they are starting. all in all its a love story that I hope one day I will actually own, and not just borrow from a friend. Thats how I read it.

I read the first book and couldn't read on. I strongly dislike the emotional abuse being viewed in an almost positive light and the writing.

The librarian in me is very torn on it. My usual reaction to fad books is "Well at least people who normally wouldn't read, are" but the language and grammar are so poor in this one that I see it as almost counter-productive to that point.

I read the first, it was alright. Easy to read but she could really use a thesaurus... I didnt want to read it for a long time. I was kinda pissed (hormonal and pregnant) when people thought my screen name had any association.

Maybe its just me. I liked not having to use a dictionary. Some parts I agree we're not written well. The jealousy was out there a lot with him but it's something me and my df struggle with. Not as bad but it's definitely there. Idk. I really really liked it and can't wait for the movies!

I haven't read it but I'd like to so I can see what all the fuss is about. It seems to be 50/50 with you either love it or hate it! I have no idea where I'll be with it LOL!!

I refuse to read it too. I haven't read one syllable so I can't comment on writing style or plot line or anything. It just didn't appeal to me on any level. Although, almost every woman I know read and loved it. LOL.

I read the first one and I did really enjoy it. I was just hooked by the sex I'll be honest, but the love story is different and quite interesting, too.

I don't much like JK Rowling's writing style, either, personally, I find it really heavygoing and especially when the early Harry Potters are meant as children's books, but I liked the story and the characters so much I read it to the end. I don't see this as any different, I don't expect I'll read any more books by the author or any more in that genre but I'll finish reading the series.

I've read thousands and thousands of books and it's by far the worst. I've read erotica that blows it out of the water, and I will never figure out why it's so popular. It reads like it was written by a 12 year old, and I'll also never understand how possessive/obsessive control freak ***hole is considered sexy. Atrocious sums it up for me, and I'm definitely NOT a literary snob, I read anything.

I couldn't agree more Mindy Rambo. I didn't even get half way through the first book. The writing is shocking and in comparison to the other erotic fiction I have read it sucks. However I am a firm believer that if everyone liked the same things then the world would be a boring place!!

I have no desire to read the book or watch the movie when it comes out(and it will LOL).

However, if Im in the mood for some turn ony kinda stuff I go to my Black Dagger Brotherhood series(which I cant cuz I cant find them since our move LOL). Nothing like big strapping vampires! LMBO
