View Poll Results: Do you think Sylvia Brown is for real?
Sylvia Brown is a psychic. I do not believe in psychics. It says so in the bible somewhere. We should not believe in psychics, mediums whitch craft etc. I'll have to look it up sometime. I think this psychic stuff is all devil worship or devil related. This is only my oppinions. Not trying to upset anyone here.
I too watched Montel mainly so I could watch Sylvia... Now whether all that stuff is rigged or not, I can't say. But I definitely do believe there are true psychics out there, and I don't think they have anything at all to do with devil worship or anything bad. I think what is happening when there is a true psychic is that they have managed to tap into that huge amount of brain that we all have and don't use. Haven't you ever wondered what we could do if we could find a way to use our brains to their full potential? I often have, and my own little theory is that psychics have just taken another small evolutionary step toward using that untapped grey matter.
Revealing how little I am tapped into culture today..... who is Sylvia Brown?
I read in "People" about the crime pychic who is the inspiration for that new series with Patricia Arquette (I think its called Medium). She seemed fairly credible in how she came across. Whether its real or not, I don't know, but if she's helping close hard homicide cases and give some peace to the loved ones who suffered horrendous loss, then it sounds okay to me.
Its the "money-making" psychics that I'm wary of - John Edwards etc. Those people strike me as preying on those who just want desperately to have one last connection to their loved ones. I heard stories about how the Edwards show bugs the bathrooms to hear people talking ("I wonder if he'll channel dear Aunt Sue?") - now that is creepy.
