Well, I am mostly an herbalist, a natural witch if you will I plan to teach my kids my philosophies, and explain my beliefs, and let them decide if it's right for them. That's not to say I don't plan on laying some early ground work I just bought the Tao of Pooh (I really suggest this if you haven't read it) to read the baby, and will also be reading the original pooh books, along with such things as the giving tree...books that I know really influenced my young life and how I see the world and respect and revere nature.

I don't want to force them into anything that doesn't feel right for them, but I do plan on being open and honest and explain my beliefs the best I can, and hope that they choose a path that has a similiar positive influence on themselves and the people around them. Of course if they ask and want to be taught and participate in what I do, I would be ecstatic

I'm more of a naturalist/kitchen witch. But I will teach my daughter my ways (which were also my great grandmothers) and will let her experience other religions and choose what she wants
