Also my mother's recipe. She would bake it for thanksgiving...
But i cooked it yesterday and i think i may have it for lunch today with some chicken.
3 cans french style green beans (4g carb per serving i think)
1 can progresso mushroom soup (or other...but progresso has 9g carb per 1/2 can, dilute accordingly if it is condensed)
about 2oz velveeta (i use 2%) cubed
Pepper or other seasoning (to taste)
Combine all in an oven safe dish or microwave safe if you want to microwave it. (I prefer oven baked) Bake at 350 for about 30 minutes. Stir. Add french fried onions to top if you prefer (i only add like 2tbsp for the whole thing).
Bake for another 10 minutes or so.
Let cool for about 10 minutes before serving, to allow it to thicken.
