Wow, I bet that's tough! We had to submit pictures, but nothing like the books I've seen for domestic adoption. Good luck and I hope someone can help you with some tips!

I've been working on mine. I've tried to put in little descriptions of each picture... explaining a little more of what they show in case there are older children who can read about it.

I'd love some ideas too! I was thinking about pictures of fun family stuff we've done... like playing at the park near our house and going to the zoo and stuff like that. Does that sound like too much?

I think pictures of y'all doing fun stuff would be perfect! It would give them a better idea of your personalities than just regular posed pictures, KWIM? My friend who adopted domestically last year made theirs like a scrapbook with pictures and lots of descriptions. She had a page for each of them individually (that described what they did for a living, their hobbies, etc) and then the rest were pics of them together doing things like traveling, cooking, playing games, etc. It was so neat! Good luck!!

We have already picked out picts and I know we are going to do one of us together then my family and his including all of our sisters, brothers nieces and nephews. We are also going to include a pic of our pets and our close freinds becuase they will be around them all the time. Alot of pics are from camping and hanging out at the zoo and stuff so I think that will show what kind of stuff that we like to do. Our case worker told us to not make them too long because the adoption committee doesn't like to look through long books. We are just going to make sure we get everybody in it that will be in the Childs life. It is stressful becuase our caseworker will see it and so will the Adoption committee, our future child and their current foster parents. I just want to make sure I accurately represent us. I'm probably stressing out alot more then I should be but hey its what I do!

I'm sure you will do fine! I wonder if you went to the craft store and got a pretty scrapbook and some stickers and pretty things like that - Maybe that would spice it up a little?
Good luck! I'm sure you'll do great!
