Did you know that you can breastfeed an adopted child? I read that a few years ago and was surprised - I had no idea. There are way to stimulate your milk production even if your not pregnant. That was very, very interesting!

Yea I read that somewhere too! I think they put you on some kind of hormone prior to bringing the baby home.
I think its a great idea!

Yep... some people can. I don't think I'm one of them, though. I couldn't even bf my bio kid ... stupid thyroid!

Yeah. My mother actually decided not to BF my oldest brother. Her milk dried up. She decided about 6 months later he needed it (he was allergic to everything... literally). She was able to stimulate her milk again. It was basically the same thing as doing it for adoption at that point.

Wow that is amazing. I just wanted to peak in here I think you ladies are wonderful for wanting to adopt I have 2 adopted neices and one nephew
