Lil Buddy is 22 months old and basically completely immobile. He actually had some forward momentum on Christmas which I call crawling. That was a great Christmas! He basically since then has been moving a few feet max and then stopping. He has very little muscle tone, so it makes pulling himself with his arms very hard. He also has never sat up by himself. I can put him in a sitting position and he stays, but he cannot get to sitting alone. And he has basically thrown up every day since he came here in July due to texture aversions and other things. And he doesn't eat anything except 4 bottle of Pediasure a day and maybe a bite or two of rice cereal if it is thin enough.

That is all true up until this weekend.

On Friday morning I went into his room to get him out of his crib and he is SITTING in his crib! Since then he has been getting to sitting alone quite often. He has to pull up on something to get to sitting, but he is doing it!

Later that day I was in the kitchen making dinner and I was listening to Lil Buddy and Sarah Beth in the living room while they were playing. I start noticing that Lil Buddy sounded very far away. I go looking for him and he is not in the living room. I found him in my daughter's room! He had crawled about 10 feet to get there, through doors, around corners... it was just amazing.

And, he has not thrown up in 4 days! This is HUGE! He is eating wonderfully. He has eaten instant pudding with wheat germ added (to get him used to textures), all kinds of baby foods that he wouldn't touch before, even crackers (first ever real solid food he's eaten without throwing up).

I'm just so proud and had to share!

And this weekend he has his second visit with his bio family ever. I hope it goes well.
