Tonight is the info meeting. I just wanted to ask if it was necessary for my husband to go as well? I am not sure if children are aloud and we have the girls. They would probably be bored anyhow if they went. I am just not sure if my husband should be there or not. Thanks

In TX, yes, both parents have to be present at the same time, and other children are welcome to come. I know ... I had the same question, so I emailed and asked.

I second this notion - would definitely email or call to ask. DH and I both had to attend every meeting we went to here in VA.

I hope the meeting is informative and encouraging. Please KUP!

It went well. I am ready to put the application in but dh has not agreed yet for some reason. I am not sure why. He wont agree to us ttc again after our loss and he wont agree to fostering either. I am getting really angry at him.

I did ask the social worker if it was possible to get an infant and she said it was very possible here. She has placed 3 infants in the last 6mths and she only places every 2 mths. So that was really good news.

Maybe DH needs time to heal from your losses. I understand your urgency in wanting a baby asap, but he may need more time to deal with his feelings.

Maybe but he never did take it as hard as I did. Women get really attached to the pregnancy as men dont. So I dont really think that is it.

He actually agreed to go ahead and foster a child though. So that is good. I cant wait.
